For healthy gums, teeth and general health

Keep your oral hygiene at optimal level  with a regular dental hygiene visit for health gums and teeth. All teeth cleaning is completed using Guided Biofilm (GBT), a revolutionary Swiss innovation in Oral Hygiene.

As a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, anything outside my professional remit would need to be carried out by a dentist for which I would raise a referral to one of my highly experienced and attentive inhouse colleagues.

FAQ

What is Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a modern professional dental cleaning approach that uses warm water, air and an antimicrobial powder to clean bacteria off the teeth and below the gum line. Traditional cleaning methods can be more invasive and cause sensitivity but  GBT includes a thorough oral assessment, a comprehensive cleaning incorporating air polishing,no pain piezon technology, and personalised oral hygiene instructions.

GBT is minimally invasive, painless, and can be completed in a single appointment. It is more effective than traditional cleaning methods in removing bacteria, reducing the risk of gum disease and tooth decay, and leaving your teeth and gums feeling clean and healthy.

Tailored advice on how to maintain good oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing and interdental cleaning is provided  and this is reviewed at each return visit  which varies between every 3 to 6 months.  It is recommended that you bring your  toothbrush to your first visit.

GBT is my number one choice as a professional cleaning treatment and it is 100% backed by science removing 100% off plaque biofilm of the surface of the teeth.

Why do you need  hygiene appointments?

Regular professional dental hygiene appointments are essential for maintaining good oral health. This is because our teeth are covered in a sticky film made up of bacteria called biofilm, which can cause gum disease and tooth decay if not removed. If left untreated can lead to gum disease, tooth loss.

Plaque biofilm can also lead to poor management of other systemic health related disease such as diabetes and  cardiovascular disease.,

Thankfully, modern dental technology has made it possible to receive professional dental hygiene care that is both effective and pain-free. By visiting a dental hygienist regularly, you can ensure that any biofilm buildup is removed, reducing your risk of developing gum disease and tooth decay, and maintaining good oral health

Whitening

For tooth whitening to be carried out a mouth must be declared 'healthy & clean' by a Dentist and may require dental X-rays.
